SEC releases FIMSAC meeting date

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will hold its inaugural fixed income market structure advisory committee (FISMAC) meeting on 11 January.

According to SEC, the meeting will focus on bond market liquidity issues, and will also cover certain administrative items.

The commission initiated the advisory committee to provide a formal platform through, which the commission can receive advice, as well as recommendations on fixed income market structure issues.

The meeting, which will be open to the public, will be webcast live on the SEC’s website: www.sec.gov
