Softek wins eRoom mandate for intra-day credit and risk monitoring

eRoom Securities, an introducing broker offering institutional brokerage and execution services, has selected Softek to provide intra-day credit and risk monitoring for its web-based client reporting system.

Andrew Powell, COO at Softek, said eRoom is able to leverage Softek’s private cloud-based utility, combining data management, risk analytics and reporting, to monitor near real-time credit and risk across its entire business.

He explained: “Using a combination of our bespoke alert service, applications and reports, eRoom has a complete picture of intra-day risks with minimum effort. It’s been a pleasure to work with their team of professionals and we look forward to working with them as they continue to grow.”

Mike Maloney, chief risk officer at eRoom Securities, which specialises in providing high-touch technology, execution and brokerage services to professional traders, hedge funds, high net worth individuals and institutions trading US options, equities and futures, added: “Partnering with Softek has enabled eRoom’s customers to actively manage margin and capital requirements in near real-time."

"Softek’s service has added value to our leading-edge suite of reporting tools, and gives our clients the ability to manage their trading activity in a time sensitive and effective manner.”
